Deanna is the founder and owner of Mustard Seed Mindspace.
Deanna supports clients of all ages with mental health concerns, and those who are challenged with change and transition. She has a special interest in working with Veterans, clients with anxiety, and is dedicated to closing the gap in mental health support for remote and rural communities. She enjoys developing and delivering psycho-education programs for 'toolbox talks', supporting Veterans to assimilate into civilian life, and helping clients achieve their goals set during counselling.
She has developed expertise in a variety of areas including working with Veterans, men's mental health, transition and change, rural and remote areas, and supports her clients from a trauma informed lens.
In addition to her Bachelor of Human Services majoring in Counselling (BHSC), Deanna's holistic counselling practice is informed by the knowledge and experience she has gained through her education and work in several other fields that focus on the body and mind. She continues to maintain a contemporary and science-based therapeutic practice through ongoing professional development.
